When Megan Sills was a junior in high school, she started suddenly experiencing dizzy and fainting spells. After months and years of visiting doctors who had no answers, they eventually settled on the diagnosis of dysautonomia. Dysautonomia is a disorder that disrupts a person’s autonomic nervous system, which can cause fainting as well as a variety of other symptoms. Throughout all this hardship, Sills continued to pursue her lifelong passion of dancing, even if her condition made her dancing look a bit different than her peers. Now a junior in college, Sills still continues to dance no matter what challenges life throws her way.

Tracy Daby, a long-time resident of Iowa City, has been outspoken about the ill effects she has experienced from the existing Oral B manufacturing plant, which Procter & Gamble owns, right next to Kirkwood and a few blocks away from her home.
